I’m excited to see what prompt I get this time. Something I didn’t realize until reviewing the rules again today is that this competition is actually peer judged, meaning I’ll have to read through several of my competitor’s short stories to rank them against one another. I’m sure to read some good stuff over the next couple of weeks! I’m hoping that as the rounds go on, the decisions will get harder and harder as I read better and better stories. In the end, it better be a real nail biter.
